Sinotruk Eyes Dump Truck Market in Eastern Indonesia

PT Tridaya Auto becomes the official dealer of Sinotruk-HOWO, a dump truck manufacturer from China, for the eastern part of Indonesia, in response to the growing demand for dump trucks in the region.

Tridaya Auto Vehicle Sales Spare Parts and Marketing GM Permana Razzy said the company would focus on marketing and selling dump trucks in big cities with mining activities.

Permana said that Makassar, Manado, Kendari, and Morowali were expected to support the sales of Sinotruk-HOWO dump trucks. “The mining sector, especially nickel in Sulawesi and Maluku, is very fast. It needs reliable transportation or material conveyance with dump truck specifications. We are here to meet that need,” Permana said in a written statement.

Tridaya Auto President Director William Gosal added that several mining companies had partnered with the company to buy the dump trucks. “For example, the mine in Morosi and some other mining companies on Sulawesi Island,” William said.
